The aim of the new regulation is to improve allergen information by presenting the prescribed allergens in plain English, creating a consistent and easily understood format across food labels that makes it easier for consumers to read and understand.
A key change due to this regulation is that Tree Nuts can no longer be used as a catch-all phrase, rather labels must be more specific on the type of tree nut. Labels must state the exact tree nut contained in the product e.g. almond, Brazil nut, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, pine nut, pistachio, walnut.
There will be some further adjustments relating to additives and processing aids derived from allergenic materials. These must be declared in bold type within the ingredient listing and also captured in the Contains statement after the list of ingredients. Noting that wheat-derived ingredients are often used as an additive in flavours, so in some cases where the flavour supplier cannot confirm the level/existence of gluten from a wheat-derived ingredient, we have chosen to state Contains wheat, gluten” to ensure we protect our consumers as much as possible.
During the transition to comply with this new regulation (3-year transition + 2-year sell-through period), you may notice changes to our label layout and the way allergens are listed on the labels of our products and many other products on the Australian and New Zealand marketplace. We are working to update our labels and website in alignment, but in some cases, there may be a slight difference in timing, thus we appreciate your patience as we endeavour to roll out these changes as swiftly as possible. I got the unflavoured one. Took a shot at two 2.5kg bags and have no regrets hehe.
I would say unflavoured is a very good description. I can barely taste anything which is exactly what I wanted and needed. As such it goes perfectly into my smoothies. It contributes nothing to the flavour (again what I wanted) and just adds to the texture in the form of a bit of thickening (as you’d expect).
I would say it has a very faint smell of pea (the vegetable/legume). Otherwise exactly as advertised – an awesome vegan protien 🙂

Have tried the banana and the chocolate flavours and both are delicious! Not too sweet but tastes refreshing, the chocolate one is a bit nicer though. Will definitely order again and and I’ve tried a lot of companies vegan protein and this one is the best so far. Delivery came super quick so they are great.

I got this for my son he said he loves everything about it. He said the taste is just right. He usually has a sensitive stomach but this is smooth and goes down well. Also such good value. Definately will be getting again. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I’ve tried probably around 10-15 plant based proteins. All the pea proteins tasted horrible and were grainy. This one mixes well, isn’t grainy and tastes great (I’ve tried peanut butter choc and cereal milk).

It’s by far the most disgusting product I have ever come across. I don’t know why you ever created it, or your scientists were high when they tested it, if someone is reading this review, I wanna let you know that you can literally smell vegetable oil in it. And it take ages to settle once you have given it a shake. You gotta give it half an hour just so the froth and bubbles set down. Very disappointed with the purchase.

I bought the banana flavour being as it should have complimented my usual banana based protein shakes, but it tastes nothing close to banana but instead is just vile. Won’t be buying this again until it comes unflavoured or at least a simple vanilla.
