AAKG stands for Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate.
What is the difference between l-arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate?
L arginine is simply another name for the amino acid, arginine, which is a semi-essential amino acid. This means that it is not just found in foods, but also produced by the human body – in this case from glutamine via citrulline. The body uses arginine to produce biochemicals, enzymes and proteins.
AAKG, on the other hand, is a salt of the amino acid arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate, which have been bonded together. The two are often coupled and offered in nutritional supplements such as pre-workouts.
Many forms of arginine have been produced in order to improve effectiveness and absorption. Our AAKG is different to many 1:1 forms on the market as it offers AAKG with a ratio of 2:1. This means that our arginine alpha-ketoglutarate is made from two arginine molecules attached to one molecule of alpha-ketoglutarate.

Usually I don’t leave reviews but I’ve found this to be a game changer really helps you keep your size especially when mixed with other supplements if you hit the weights hard with this supplement you will see big improvements I found it took about 4-6 weeks before I saw an improvement as it needed to get into my system but overall very happy
