Price (at time of import): $18.99

What it is

Clear Whey Protein Splash of Flavour is a sports nutrition product sold to support common fitness goals such as meeting daily nutrition targets, improving training consistency, and making intake more convenient. Exact ingredients, allergens, and nutrition values vary by flavour and batch—always verify on the product label before use.

Who it’s for (and who should be cautious)

  • Good fit: people training regularly, busy schedules, or anyone wanting a convenient way to support their overall intake.
  • Use extra care: anyone with kidney/liver disease, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, or those taking prescription medications. If unsure, ask your GP or pharmacist.

How to use it in a “real life” routine

Use the label directions as your starting point. If this is your first time using this type of product, start with the smallest suggested serve and see how you feel for a few days before increasing.

  • Around workouts: many people take sports nutrition products pre- or post-training for convenience.
  • On rest days: use it only if it helps you hit your daily targets (for example, protein or total calories).
  • With food: it’s fine to pair with whole-food meals—think fruit, yoghurt, oats, or a balanced lunch.

What to check on the label before you buy

  • Serving size: compare “per serving” and “per 100 g” so you’re not misled by scoop sizes.
  • Allergens: especially dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts (varies by product).
  • Added stimulants/sweeteners: relevant if you’re sensitive to caffeine, sugar alcohols, or certain sweeteners.
  • Third-party testing: if you compete in sport, look for independent testing or informed-sport style certification where available.

Evidence-informed expectations

Supplements can be helpful, but the big drivers of results are still: consistent training, adequate sleep, enough total calories (not too little), and enough protein and fibre from food. Think of Clear Whey Protein Splash of Flavour as a convenience tool—not a shortcut.

Practical recommendations to get better results

  • Set a clear goal: fat loss, maintenance, or muscle gain. Your supplement choice should match the goal.
  • Prioritise protein distribution: aim to spread protein across meals rather than “all at dinner”.
  • Strength train progressively: track lifts and aim for small improvements (load, reps, or form) over time.
  • Support recovery: hydration, fruits/vegetables, and a consistent bedtime often outperform “extra” supplements.

  1. Bec

I can’t bare normal protein shakes and have tried the juices in the past, found them easier to drink but still too sweet/ artificial tasting. This is absolutely perfect, the right amount of flavour I’m obsessed! Not sickly and goes down a treat with some ice. Please make bigger sizes and I’ll be getting this on the regular!

  2. ZeeR82

Compared to the standard clear whey protein versions, I was able to down a whole 400ml in one go thanks to how light and refreshing it was. A million times better. And I have a sweet tooth and even I find the standard version too sweet and sickly at times, even after topping up with more water. And the same amount of protein (20g) compared to the standard – take my money now!
I purchased the Orange and Mango version and the flavour was more on the orange side than mango with a slight citrus lemon edge – that’s the only small downside (artificial taste) but I’d still take it over the standard Clear whey products any day.
Please launch more flavours such as Peach ice tea, Watermelon or Raspberry Lemonade soon! I’ll be ready to buy them!

  3. Rik

This is fantastic, tastes like flavoured water but still 20g of protein. Way nicer than the standard clear whey which can be overpoweringly sweet tasting. I hope they make this permanent as I don’t want to go back to the standard clear whey or the shakes.

  4. Fran

I ordered this for a change from my usual clear whey protein but I won’t be ordering it again. It’s quite bland compared to the same flavour one I would normally buy, I need to add 2 scoops to get flavour but then it’s works out more expensive and lasts half the time . 2 scoops taste better but to expensive to be using it that way .

  5. Cheesesteak

Finally moved to clear whey after trying MP sample pack. Liked it, but too sweet for me. This is perfect. Mix it with ice and it’s a total win. I’ll never go back to the thick stuff!

  6. Cmartin

I like the concept of this and have been an avid clear whey buyer for years now!
However I’m afraid this did disappoint, I was expecting almost a flavoured water taste but it’s actually quite frothy and hard to drink .. I do have to force it down

  7. AoifeB

I thought I would like this as I had found some of the clear whey flavours too sweet. However this was vile. It tastes like diorolyte and I couldn’t stomach it. Luckily I had some clear grapefruit left to add into it and disguise the taste. Otherwise the two tubs I bought would have gone in the bin. Will continue to mix!

  8. Loren

I’ve tried the other clear whey products and found them a bit too intense. This product would be really nice if it didn’t have a strange almost sour aftertaste. It’s made a bit less intense with more water but the tang is still there. Odd.

  9. Chloe

Got the orange and mango splash as the regular clear whey is sometimes a bit overpowering and artificial tasting. However, I find the taste of this one completely unpalatable (almost like one of those soluble laxative drinks) and it makes me gag. So annoying because I find the clear whey so good for staying on track with my diet and protein goals. I’m having to chug it to get through it as I don’t wanna waste money lol

  10. Alex

The “Splash of” Line of clearwhey is probably the “best” out of all the other protein powders, but taste is still horrible like all the other flavours, you HAVE to chug it there’s no enjoying the drink, it has a sour taste and when you shake it, it turns bubbly literally making it feel like you’re drinking soapy water its intolerable, the Raspberry and Lemon was slightly better but that was the same, a tip for anyone who feels the same, add some squash to it which overpowers the faint artificial clear whey taste making it more tolerable.
