I’ll be going back to Impact Whey next time. The Essential Whey doesn’t mix well, even after lots of shaking the powder doesn’t fully dissolve, leaving lots of lumps and power that gets stuck to the bottom of the shaker. There’s also less protein content per scoop, so I’ve been double scooping to get 30grams per serving.. so per gram it’s only marginally cheaper.

What even is this? You could fill holes in your wall with this stuff. Never seen anything like it. I have just thrown a full 600g tub away as it is just impossible. Even tried mixing it in a blender to have in a smoothie and it would not mix at all. Buy cheap, buy twice. Save yourself the effort and get the better stuff. I wish I had!

Was a bit apprehensive given some of the reviews but found it mixed really easily with a mixmaster. Slightly subtle flavour and lower protein content than impact but good value.

I don’t see why people are whining about the flavour, this is a fitness supplement. It’s not a snack you are supposed to enjoy in front of TV.
Plus you get more protein for your money by going unflavoured because you don’t have all that rubbish diluting the whey itself.

As excited as i was for this as i hate the taste of any protein powders it is most definitely not unflavoured.
I can’t even describe the taste is almost vanilla yoghurty flavour.
I think i will need to add it to food rather than water as trying to drink it makes me feel ill.

I’m 39 and have been using protein powders for the best part of 2 decades. I can confidently say this is one, if not, the worst. Just avoid. You can find better quality protein for far cheaper elsewhere which is why I stopped using the company.

Easily the worst protein powder I’ve ever used. The taste can only be compared to the cheapest chocolate bar you can buy and it doesn’t even mix with water, hot or cold. Absolutely disgusting and wouldn’t never recommend anyone to buy this, I’d recommend MyProtein to remove it.
