Green Superfoods: a realistic guide for health, training, and recovery
Green Superfoods is listed as a Sports nutrition supplement. This is a practical, label-first guide to how products in this category are commonly used, what to look for, and how to fit it into a sensible health and fitness routine.
Price (at time of import): $23.99
What it is
Green Superfoods is a sports nutrition product marketed to support everyday health and/or training goals. Because formulas can vary by flavour and batch, use the product label as your source of truth for ingredients, allergens, and serve size.
Who it may suit
- Good fit: people training regularly, busy schedules, or anyone who wants convenience for meeting nutrition targets.
- Be cautious: if you have kidney/liver disease, cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled blood pressure, are pregnant/breastfeeding, or take prescription medicines—confirm suitability with your GP/pharmacist.
How to use it (practical approach)
- Follow the label: start with the minimum suggested serve, especially if you’re sensitive to stimulants or sweeteners.
- Don’t stack too much: introduce one new supplement at a time so you can tell what helps (or doesn’t).
- Use it to fill gaps: the best use-case is when it helps you hit targets you’d otherwise miss (protein, hydration, micronutrients, etc.).
What to check before buying
- Serving size & per-serve amounts: compare per serve and per 100 g (or per capsule) for fair comparisons.
- Allergens: especially dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts, depending on the product.
- Stimulants/sweeteners: relevant if you’re sensitive to caffeine or sugar alcohols.
- Sport testing: if you compete, consider products with reputable third-party testing where available.
Realistic expectations
Most results come from consistent training, enough sleep, and an overall diet that matches your goal. Supplements can help with convenience and consistency, but they won’t replace basics like progressive strength training, daily movement, and adequate total energy intake.
Recommendations to improve outcomes
- Match to your goal: fat loss (protein + fibre focus), muscle gain (adequate calories + progressive overload), performance (carbs + hydration + sleep).
- Protein timing: spread protein across meals rather than relying on one large dinner.
- Track something: weight, steps, lifts, or waist—small measurable changes keep progress honest.
- Recovery basics: hydration, fruit/veg, and regular bedtimes often beat “more supplements”.

I used to love this product, not anymore. Sadly the quality had changed and also its taste. You need to go to the old recipe or factory because this one isn’t worthy. Very dissapointed.

I’ve been buying this for the last year and always enjoyed it. The last batch, which now comes in a tub, is a completely different colour, doesn’t blend into water well and tastes awful. The recipe has changed and now all of key ingredients are less than 1%. Wouldn’t bother getting any again.

It tastes disgusting so I’ve put it in smoothies so I can’t taste it

Came out of my way to write this review, this tastes amazing. Was nervous as most health drinks taste vile but this makes drinking water more fun but genuinely is so tasty

You have to shake the shaker a lot to get it to fully mix in, but once it’s mixed it tastes nice.

I used the old receipe for years and loved it. Helped with gut and energy.
The new receipe not so much . Has reduced ingrediants ,and noticed the benefits are not so good as before . I have decided to look else where for greens super food powder . Shame 😩

I don’t usually make a point to leave bad reviews but I drink this stuff every morning, so I get reminded a lot.
The new recipe is shockingly bad. It tastes nothing like it used to. The new packaging was also half full, which is always frustrating.
This used to be a great product but don’t bother anymore!

This tastes awful! If I could return it I would!

I’m not usually leaving reviews, especially bad ones, but this greens powder is honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever tried. The taste is so bad, I cannot even find the exact words to describe it. Don’t waste your money!!

Decided to try this brand after the EHP Labs greens. I’ll be switching back, the flavour is awful it’s like drinking chalk.
