Plant Protein Superblend: practical guide for training, recovery, and everyday nutrition

Plant Protein Superblend is listed as a Protein supplement. Below is a realistic, label-first guide to how people typically use products in this category, what to look for, and how to fit it into a sensible health and fitness routine.

Price (at time of import): $7.99

What it is

Plant Protein Superblend is a sports nutrition product sold to support common fitness goals such as meeting daily nutrition targets, improving training consistency, and making intake more convenient. Exact ingredients, allergens, and nutrition values vary by flavour and batch—always verify on the product label before use.

Who it’s for (and who should be cautious)

  • Good fit: people training regularly, busy schedules, or anyone wanting a convenient way to support their overall intake.
  • Use extra care: anyone with kidney/liver disease, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, or those taking prescription medications. If unsure, ask your GP or pharmacist.

How to use it in a “real life” routine

Use the label directions as your starting point. If this is your first time using this type of product, start with the smallest suggested serve and see how you feel for a few days before increasing.

  • Around workouts: many people take sports nutrition products pre- or post-training for convenience.
  • On rest days: use it only if it helps you hit your daily targets (for example, protein or total calories).
  • With food: it’s fine to pair with whole-food meals—think fruit, yoghurt, oats, or a balanced lunch.

What to check on the label before you buy

  • Serving size: compare “per serving” and “per 100 g” so you’re not misled by scoop sizes.
  • Allergens: especially dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts (varies by product).
  • Added stimulants/sweeteners: relevant if you’re sensitive to caffeine, sugar alcohols, or certain sweeteners.
  • Third-party testing: if you compete in sport, look for independent testing or informed-sport style certification where available.

Evidence-informed expectations

Supplements can be helpful, but the big drivers of results are still: consistent training, adequate sleep, enough total calories (not too little), and enough protein and fibre from food. Think of Plant Protein Superblend as a convenience tool—not a shortcut.

Practical recommendations to get better results

  • Set a clear goal: fat loss, maintenance, or muscle gain. Your supplement choice should match the goal.
  • Prioritise protein distribution: aim to spread protein across meals rather than “all at dinner”.
  • Strength train progressively: track lifts and aim for small improvements (load, reps, or form) over time.
  • Support recovery: hydration, fruits/vegetables, and a consistent bedtime often outperform “extra” supplements.

FAQs

What is Plant Protein Superblend?

Plant Protein Superblend is a protein supplement sold for general health and fitness goals. Always check the label on the product page for exact ingredients and serving details.

Who is Plant Protein Superblend best for?

It may suit people who struggle to meet nutrition targets from food alone (e.g., protein intake) or who want a convenient option around training. If you have medical conditions or take medications, check with your clinician.

How do I take Plant Protein Superblend?

Follow the manufacturer’s directions on the label. Start with the minimum suggested serve to assess tolerance, and avoid stacking multiple new supplements at once.

Can I take it every day?

Many people use sports nutrition products daily, but this depends on your goals, total diet, and how you tolerate the product. Use it to complement food, not replace it.

Is Plant Protein Superblend safe if I’m older or on medication?

Safety depends on the exact ingredients and your health profile. If you’re pregnant/breastfeeding, have kidney or liver disease, cardiovascular issues, or take prescription medicines, discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist first.

10 reviews for Plant Protein Superblend

So sickly sweet, can’t even use for overnight oats as it just doesn’t mix well, such a waste 😭 tried the chocolate flavour.

  2. Ros

I absolutely love the iced coffee blend! I find it mixes well with water, is easy to drink everyday and is not in any way thick and claggy.
I have tried the caramel and chocolate versions too. Caramel is nice enough, chocolate has a weird aftertaste to me but the iced coffee is my fave.
The only complaint I have is that a lot of them are regularly out of stock, which is very frustrating, with no facility I know of to get a notification they are back in stock. All in all, a very good powder.

  3. M

Had really high hopes for the chocolate flavour based on the reviews, but unfortunately this is just far too sweet to drink on its own as hot chocolate. I imagine that maybe using half a scoop of powder per mug, adding a teaspoon of cocoa powder, and topping it off with warm ‘milk’ might work, but this is almost undrinkable when following the instructions on the pack.
Really wish they made an unsweetened version of this, or even better, a barley-only mix. Rice is already quite sweet on its own. Adding sucralose to the mix just makes this far too much to handle. Won’t be buying this again.

  4. Izzy10111

This is amazing, flavour is great (some vegan protein powders are a bit dusty and tasteless but not this one) and it mixes really easily with milk or water. I have it with hot water to make hot chocolate and it’s so nice! Finally a protein powder I look forward to consuming 🙂

  5. Mae

A big fan of the iced coffee flavour. Since quitting caffeine this tastes like a little treat. I really like the barley flavour coming through too.
My one complaint (and from the reviews I see I’m not alone) is that it is too sickly sweet. I take this early in the morning with my ADHD meds and it’s just so overwhelming.
An unsweetened version of this would be unbeatable.

  6. Em

This is the best protein I have used for mixing with water! I can have 2 scoops in just water and it dissolves completely, no lumps. The chocolate flavour is my favourite, but coffee is a close second. Very much recommend if you’re looking to get protein in without it being a big effort!

  7. jon

PLEASE if you could offer an option without that nasty sucralose, studies have shown it can significantly affect the gut microbiome. That would be awesome thanks, why do you guys always have to mess with things!?!? just leave it alone!!! 🙂 thanks.

  8. Ido

Blends very well, which is rare for vegan protein powders.
The ice coffee is kind of barley tasting which is nice and not too sweet.
Avoid the chocolate flavour – it’s horrible.

  9. Peppermint

The iced coffee vegan powder has a fantastic texture – not gritty or gloomy. And the underlying flavour is great. But it’s catastrophically sweet. For context my husband thinks I’m part hummingbird I love sugar so much. And I found it far, far too sweet!

  10. Joey

Unfortunately very unpleasant to drink, has a strange chemical taste. Very disappointed.
