For my first time trying unflavoured protein powder, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very smooth and dissolves very easily. Makes for a perfect low calorie, low carb proffee. And at a 3rd of the price of any others I found on the market. Deffinitely recommend!

This collagen is a great protein source for those who can’t tolerate dairy and legumes. It’s also fat-free which I love. The myprotein collagen is very good for the price. It mixes well and the strawberry flavour is pleasant without being overwhelming. I have it daily in my smoothie and/or coffee.

I’ve been a loyal MyProtein customer for over two years, but I’m really disappointed this time. The collagen I received has an absolutely horrible taste and is completely undrinkable. When I reached out to customer service, they refused to accept a return or replacement, which means I have to throw it away. I honestly didn’t expect this kind of response from a brand I’ve trusted for so long. Very disappointing experience.

The unflavoured collagen has an unpleasant, sour taste and a lingering aftertaste. One scoop swells dramatically when mixed with water or other ingredients, making the drink too thick and difficult to consume especially because of the taste. I bought it to avoid the flavoured versions, which others have described as sickly sweet. The unflavoured option should be tasteless? I tried just using half a scoop mixed with sweeteners and fruit but still can’t mask the taste. I asked my son to try it to see if it was just me but he agreed and has never come across this with any other collagen product. I have also tried many other products and not come across this foul taste. Not sure why the other reviews are about? Maybe my pack was off? I did contact company but was told it’s a personal taste preference…. Very disappointed!

This order however, things have changed. It is obvious the product formula has changed, it was evident as soon as I opened the bag.
The smell is very artificial and strong, the colour is different and its very gritty/grainy and excessively sweet tasting.
Unfortunately I will be looking into alternate options as this new formula isn’t for me.
