Protein Brownie: practical guide for training, recovery, and everyday nutrition

Protein Brownie is listed as a Protein supplement. Below is a realistic, label-first guide to how people typically use products in this category, what to look for, and how to fit it into a sensible health and fitness routine.

Price (at time of import): $13.99

What it is

Protein Brownie is a sports nutrition product sold to support common fitness goals such as meeting daily nutrition targets, improving training consistency, and making intake more convenient. Exact ingredients, allergens, and nutrition values vary by flavour and batch—always verify on the product label before use.

Who it’s for (and who should be cautious)

  • Good fit: people training regularly, busy schedules, or anyone wanting a convenient way to support their overall intake.
  • Use extra care: anyone with kidney/liver disease, cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, or those taking prescription medications. If unsure, ask your GP or pharmacist.

How to use it in a “real life” routine

Use the label directions as your starting point. If this is your first time using this type of product, start with the smallest suggested serve and see how you feel for a few days before increasing.

  • Around workouts: many people take sports nutrition products pre- or post-training for convenience.
  • On rest days: use it only if it helps you hit your daily targets (for example, protein or total calories).
  • With food: it’s fine to pair with whole-food meals—think fruit, yoghurt, oats, or a balanced lunch.

What to check on the label before you buy

  • Serving size: compare “per serving” and “per 100 g” so you’re not misled by scoop sizes.
  • Allergens: especially dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts (varies by product).
  • Added stimulants/sweeteners: relevant if you’re sensitive to caffeine, sugar alcohols, or certain sweeteners.
  • Third-party testing: if you compete in sport, look for independent testing or informed-sport style certification where available.

Evidence-informed expectations

Supplements can be helpful, but the big drivers of results are still: consistent training, adequate sleep, enough total calories (not too little), and enough protein and fibre from food. Think of Protein Brownie as a convenience tool—not a shortcut.

Practical recommendations to get better results

  • Set a clear goal: fat loss, maintenance, or muscle gain. Your supplement choice should match the goal.
  • Prioritise protein distribution: aim to spread protein across meals rather than “all at dinner”.
  • Strength train progressively: track lifts and aim for small improvements (load, reps, or form) over time.
  • Support recovery: hydration, fruits/vegetables, and a consistent bedtime often outperform “extra” supplements.

FAQs

What is Protein Brownie?

Protein Brownie is a protein supplement sold for general health and fitness goals. Always check the label on the product page for exact ingredients and serving details.

Who is Protein Brownie best for?

It may suit people who struggle to meet nutrition targets from food alone (e.g., protein intake) or who want a convenient option around training. If you have medical conditions or take medications, check with your clinician.

How do I take Protein Brownie?

Follow the manufacturer’s directions on the label. Start with the minimum suggested serve to assess tolerance, and avoid stacking multiple new supplements at once.

Can I take it every day?

Many people use sports nutrition products daily, but this depends on your goals, total diet, and how you tolerate the product. Use it to complement food, not replace it.

Is Protein Brownie safe if I’m older or on medication?

Safety depends on the exact ingredients and your health profile. If you’re pregnant/breastfeeding, have kidney or liver disease, cardiovascular issues, or take prescription medicines, discuss it with your doctor or pharmacist first.

Health note: This article is general information only and isn’t medical advice. Supplements aren’t a substitute for a balanced diet. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take prescription medicines, check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting anything new.

10 reviews for Protein Brownie

  1. AGN

Really good- this new recipe is much less dry. Really enjoy it for breakfast or a treat.

  2. the old brownies were better

I dont know why they’ve changed the recipe. The ones before were so good once you heat them up for 18 seconds. Tasted so much better. These dont need heating up, but the taste is just awful. I tried heating.them up but they turn glooey, which are not after my taste. Idea: can you make a new range with the old recipe for the ones that love that instead of the new ones? 😭😩 Those brownies were my fav breakfast meal. 😭😭

  3. Roo52

These are one of the driest protein snacks I’ve ever eaten in my life! I’ve tried heating them up to see if that helps but its still a struggle to swallow with how claggy they become in your mouth.
The flavour is decent though and the price is very reasonable.
    Won’t be purchasing again.

  4. Moosh123

This brownie is a masterclass in disappointment. Imagine expecting a fudgy, chocolatey bite of happiness and instead getting a mouthful of dryness and regret.
Somehow, my protein has taken something universally loved and stripped it of all joy, moisture and flavour. It’s less a brownie, more a brick of cocoa-flavoured drywall.

  5. Beck

A certain video of a Scottish lady shouting “DISGUSTANGGG” came to mind whilst I was eating it.
So dry and powdery. It basically tastes like you’re eating stale cake. Tried heating it up and although it was slightly less dry, it just tasted like a chemically chocolate.
Would not recommend…unless your taste buds never returned from having covid, then you may be able to stomach it.

  6. Jamie

These brownies are very dry, dense and chewy. The actual flavour is pretty decent but the texture makes them a little unpleasant to consume. Still a good source of extra protein though so if you do get these, I recommend having one alongside a mug of tea or some other hot drink to wash it down with.

  7. Mbc

This is 100% better than the protein cookie (which imo is awful – yet seems to have decent reviews). Aye this is a bit dry and doesn’t taste amazing but it’s not bad, it’s got great protein content and a fair price.
I have this with a cup of tea at night and it goes down a treat, if you’re having it itself it might be a bit too dry.
Buy one to try rather than a box.

  8. Cla

It’s taste good when u warm it in microwave also I think it would hit the spot if u eat it warm with an ice cream but overall it’s good
If u love sweet treats must try

  9. Egon

Unfortunately, I bought a pack of 12 but they’re just awful. They’re horribly dense and fall apart like chalk in your mouth. And the taste? Very bitter and not at all enjoyable. It took me 3 days to eat just 1 and now I have 11 remaining that I think I’ll just throw away as there is no way I can eat them and, somewhat unsurprisingly now that I’ve tried them, no one else I know that also eats protein bars etc wants them either. Pity I didn’t read the reviews beforehand as it looks like the recipe has been changed and most recently, most of the reviews have been poor.

  10. James

Not for me. Bit of a synthetic flavour and very much tastes like a home baked protein brownie gone wrong. Edible but I don’t think I’ll be getting again.
